Our Philosophy

Our mission is to provide strategies and solutions for our clients that result in positive impacts on their legislative agenda. Whether it be writing and lobbying legislation or monitoring your PAC, we believe that in order to be successful for you, we must first listen to your needs and concerns.

That is why we have developed our LEAD system for success. LEAD is a tailor made process in which CI principals take necessary steps to understand your full needs and then develop the strategies to accomplish them.

L-isten - In order to understand the issue we will be working on, it is vital that we open our ears and hear your wants, wishes, and concerns. We practice active listening and encourage an open and constant dialogue with our clients.

E-ngage - Once we have determined what the issues are, it is time to research and network the issues. CI’s team of researchers are led by the Principals and are experts at uncovering information in support and information in opposition of your issue. During the research phase, Principals are also engaged in face networking and issue testing. Using our extensive contacts and personal relationships throughout the Capitol and the State, we can effectively judge the reaction of the Legislature and other interest groups.

A-dvise - After the Principals have reviewed the research and digested the information gathered from the face networking, we sit down with you the client and discuss the different options available for accomplishing your short and long term goals. This collaborative process between the client and CI is crucial to ensuring that we are truly serving your needs.

D-eliver- Now that we have a strategy in place, it’s time to deliver. CI’s whole team is now working to accomplish your goals. We take great pride in our ability to communicate with you, our client in an effective and convenient manner, so that you will know how we are managing your issues.
